Majority of people are sold on the illusion that the only way to achieve anything great is by bumping into luck along the way. There has never been a more false statement.
"He got lucky"
"She got lucky"
"That company got lucky"
These are the explanations I would get when I'd ask someone how a certain person accomplished such amazing things in their life.
Instead of believing it. I believed what I wanted to believe. And that is that there must be a different way.
If greatness was achieved by sheer luck.
We wouldn't have amazing and talented musicians.
We wouldn't have actors that are able to make us feel their work.
Engineers and scientists that make daily groundbreaking discoveries.
Instead we'd have a bunch of people that have no idea what they are doing because everything they achieved was just by "being lucky".
